Union Grove Farm and Vineyard is committed to growing the healthiest table grapes on the planet, while respecting and caring for our environment. We have chosen a Soil Food Web approach which means eradicating all synthetic chemicals from our operation – pesticides/herbicides/fertilizers – and supporting and optimizing our vines and soil with pure biology. Our goal is to dance with Mother Nature…not battle with her!

As part of our process, we are excited to use our Liquid Biological Amendments [LBA], aka Compost Tea, via foliar spraying, soil drenching and root injection,  optimizing our beautiful, seedless muscadine vines. Once this program kicks in, the vines will be in balance with the soil and the life force in the soil, the microbiome, leading to the vines sustaining their own nutritional and defense needs, all without future dependence on synthetic chemical additives.
