What does Union Grove Farm “farm” anyway?

Here at Union Grove Farm we maintain nearly 500 acres of woods with the special guidance of a local preservationist, as well as farming 10+ acres of grapes, fruit trees and berry bushes. We also host 2 families of bees on our property with the goal to add more to our cultivation as time and labor allows.

Though we’ve got a wide variety of plants and operations here on the farm, our grapes are our prized possession. Stay tuned for individual posts about our grape varieties, what makes them special, and why we are so proud to bring our vineyard to the Chapel Hill community.
